I wanted to share with my network that Rogers just does not seem to get it when it comes to servicing customers. After many years of loyalty they did not seem to care or discuss just cut off. Happy to start a new relationship with my friends from TELUS! Please use email over the weekend and Monday 416-627-8631 will be back. Sorry for any inconveniences. Please email me at kyle.mcguffin@baystreetsolutions.net until Monday.

Happy Canada Day!
I have a Dream that one day Canada will be the Global Leader for all countries to follow!
What a country we live in! So much land and fresh water! All kinds of different cultures all forming together to appreciate a nation where we grow beards in the playoffs and some women refuse to shave their legs…..Ladies this is not necessary but we appreciate your efforts. LOL!
Where we have government notifications to call the government if we have not completed our census and we all could not help notice no name on the address just the address.
Has this great nation lost our residential information…?
Where entrepreneurs do not receive benefits even though they have contributed to EI since they started work at 14 or sooner!
Oh Canada! Let’s stop being so quiet and start holding people with authority accountable to the PEOPLE of Canada. A politician does not do what they say….FIRED!
Any civil servant that does not deliver on their job responsibility FIRED!
Yes, just like the real world….Accountability to all Canadians to keep their word and integrity and do what they said they would do.
Why?...... Because we are Canadian!
Our healthcare system is broken. No accountability! Long waits are everywhere. This week I read of a great idea that doctors will be charged late fees when they make a patient wait a certain amount of time. This is progress people. After all we pay their salaries with our taxes. We don’t staff suitable specialists in emergency. I lost my grandfather because the ambulance brought him to a hospital that did not have proper coverage.
So because it’s free I should be ok with this? No this is unacceptable. Nothing is free!
Our Federal and Provincial Government Structure are broken. Voter turnout is low and GenX is soon to be the largest demographic. It’s time for change. Being told that these things will never change is not an ACCEPTABLE answer and we as Canadians must take action ourselves and stop looking for someone else to act. Start to act today. Canada Day!
Let’s fix our judicial system, where judges are not accountable to anyone and have all the lawyers over for dinners and do nothing to fix this broken system. Ordering people to do things that are not feasible just because they can is unacceptable. This is not what Canadians want! So let’s fix it today!
To end on a positive note our Educational System, seems to be back on track according to MacLeans Magazine. Good news about Canada’s education system

What wakes you up in the Morning?
Listened to Bill Taylor (The co-founder of Fast Company. Taylor (who no longer works at Fast Company) has authored two best-selling business book (Mavericks At Work and Practically Radical), is a professor at Babson Collegeand a columnist for The Guardian newspaper.) speak at a function about the key thing that companies need to focus on and he believes this is creating an emotional connection with your community. The day of speeds and feeds are over. We must entice consumers by demonstrating that we have a unique and untraditional way to do things. So starting today dare to be different if you want a different outcome. Not only be different be incredible. Not only incredible be unforgettable.
Look at banking. A business that makes money on our money! Making record breaking profits on charging us more than the value we receive. We must revise our banking and not tolerate these fees. We need a bank to step up from the norm and demonstrate they want our business. Who will be first….? Who will dare to be different?
We look at Insurance companies receiving our monthly premiums for the day we die and allowing our loves ones to have access to the money….Great concept. Have you ever tried to reach someone in these institutions? Did you feel like they were doing you a favor? What happens when no one claims these funds? Do they try to find us? What happens when we miss a monthly payment...? Policy ends…Is this fair? This structure is not appropriate at this time. We want more flexibility and new services that meet today’s needs. Dare to be different. What insurance company has the guts to stand up and revolutionize the Insurance industry?
The truth is, every product or service has this opportunity right in front of them but elect to play it safe, no risk, but then no return.
Let’s see who demonstrates to the people they want our business. I will end this entry with two powerful statements/questions from Bill.
“Don’t limit what you know today by innovation to imagine.”
“Am I learning as fast as the world is changing?”
Make it a great day!
